Student representative: Wendy Yan

Good morning, Ladies and gentlemen, professors and my beloved classmates. I am Wendy Yan from BiMBA Peking University-Vlerick Business School MBA program, Class 2017. I am from Johnson & Johnson, Business Development department. It is a great honor for me to stand here, on behalf of Class 2017 general MBA, giving this speech, share my experience, thoughts and expectation with you.

Peking University has always been my dream school since I was a kid. I got to know BiMBA of National School of Development at Peking University 10 years ago when I still worked for Novartis and attended a 2-year BiMBA executive training program. That was the 1st time that I had the opportunities to know this program and meet many great professors I was deeply impressed by their enriched experience, knowledge and insights of the industries. Since then, I was beginning to get more eager to be  part of BiMBA family and to get more nourished. And today, I am standing here and proud to announce that, my dream comes true.

Being admitted to BiMBA, we have proved that we are the best candidates from various industries. As a professional who has more than twenty-year working experience in the Healthcare industry, I have faced and conquered a lot of challenges in my career life. But I still think this new learning journey will be an adventure for me. And I would love to embrace all of the uncertainties from this adventure, stepping out of my comfort zone, capability and knowledge limitations. I am willing to work with all of you, seek more possibilities, deploy our self- potentials, change ourselves and contribute more to this world.

However, how are we going to achieve our goals to contribute to this world and to be a better person? This is a question that I want to work together with you to look for an answer in the following2 years. Today we are proud of BiMBA of NSD, and let’s work together to add more values to NSD family in the future.

Go HONOR 20th BiMBA students!

Thank You!
