Biography

Professor Ouyang received his Ph.D from Yale University, MBA from Cornell University. Currently he is Clinical Professor of Management at BiMBA at Peking University and co-founder of HDDC Management Consulting Ltd. Professor Ouyang has taught strategy, corporate development and innovation courses at Fordham and BiMBA program of Peking University. He was voted the best professor twice at Fordham University. His courses at BiMBA were also well received by both students and executives. Professor Ouyang is an expert on business strategy, transformation and innovation, especially the transformation from imitators to innovators of Chinese firms. His research appeared on Research Policy, International Journal of Technology Management, Thunderbird International Business Review, European Journal of Management. Besides his advisory roles for several TV business programs, Professor Ouyang has provided executive training and consulting to many world-class companies such as GE, Caterpillar, JP Morgan, Pfizer, Novartis, GSK, BMW, Telefonica, China Unicom, Huawei, CITIC Bank, Glaceau, Sanyuan Group, etc.
