Course description:

PKU NSD has designed its course with introspection, foresight, innovation, team work and action as train of thought, and is divided into five major parts, namely, systematic knowledge, cultural accumulation, outlook assessment, innovative technology and global perspective.In addition, Chinas economy is in the process of experiencing new changes and challenges. Dramatic changes taking place in industries brought about by mobile Internet+ is rapidly changing the ecology of all industries and lives of every person.The EMBA program has kept pace with the times, and on the basis of the existing program, has developed a series of new courses, namely, “Taking the pulse of macroeconomic changes” and “Addressing the Internet+ era”.

Introspection:

In accordance with the concept of the world is a reflection of internal perception, this will help managers:

examine (i) themselves, (ii) their relationship with the organization, (iii) their respective enterprises, and (iv) the time in which they live, among others, from a historic, psychological, cultural and business perspective.By way of conducting teaching activities at different venues, visits, discussions and exchanges, as well as writing papers, students will be able to understand themselves, others, enterprises and society more systematically .

In accordance with the concept of sharing value, growth by aggregation, the focus of the course design is on interpersonal collaboration, conflict resolution, inter-organizational collaboration, enterprise-government cooperation and other various different levels, which will help students:

Have the ability to allow different members to work efficiently at an organizational platform.

Teaching arrangement

Program duration: 2 years

Class format: Part-time studies with classes on alternate weekends or four consecutive days.

Course structure: Comprises compulsory courses, electives and distributional electives. Currently, there are nine required courses and 23 electives.Six modules pear year; each module generally lasts eight weeks, with lectures for two to four courses.
