Speakers

Mr. Chen Yong

2005 full-time MBA alumnus. Mr. Chen works in info-technology, culture and media, as well as investment consulting and has garnered multiple years’ experience with startups, SOEs, and public institutions. He’s passionate about undertakings that meaningfully cut through different industries. In 2015, he published a coloring book featuring the frescos of Dunhuang Grottos which sold 100,000 copies within half a year and won acclaims of mainstream media. In 2019, he curated a Dunhuang-themed art exhibition together with Dunhuang Academy and Phoenix TV. On show for half a year, it was extensively covered by the media.

 

Ms. Li Jing

2019 PKU-UCL part-time MBA alumna. Ms. Li heads the drama production of Mailive, Alibaba Group’s culture and entertainment arm. She received her bachelor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and master’s from School of Media Arts and Studies, Ohio University. She has work for ten years in the production of musicals and art festivals as well as operation and management of art centers. Previously she worked for the Smithsonian Institution and then China Arts and Entertainment Group and was deputy general manager in charge of content creativity and operation for two art and culture organizations. She got involved in the production and operation of musicals such as Rock & Roll Faust, Mama Mia Chinese version and many more. In addition, she played an instrumental role in staging foreign masterpieces, such as Phantom of the Opera and Romeo and Juliet, in China.

 

Ms. Zhang Qian

2015 PKU-Vlerick full-time MBA, MSGF of Fordham University. Ms. Zhang has over ten years’ experience offering consulting services in the communication sphere, covering corporate strategy, brand marketing, communication strategy, product tactics, organizational transformation, crisis prevention management and senior management training. Her clients include a number of established companies in the automobile, energy and real estate industries. Since 2020, Ms. Zhang has devoted herself to following and researching China’s stand-up comedy industry. Her book on the topic, Light Chasers, is in the making.
