My MBA Career Mentors / MBA Info-Session

The NSD's One-on-One MBA Career Mentor Program aims to assist MBA students in expanding horizon, enhancing order of thinking, deepening the understanding of industry and business environments, visualizing career directions and goals, and making sound plans and preparations for the future. In addition, the program helps establish mentor-mentee relationships beyond classroom, which will facilitate the continuous growth of MBA students and stimulate energy bursts from both the mentor and the mentee.

MBA Mentor Guest Speakers

Mr. Cao Ran, 2021-2023 Alumni Ambassador of NSD’s MBA programs, Career Mentor of NSD’s MBA programs, 2012 PKU-Vlerick part-time MBA, Master of Engineering of Beijing University of Technology. Mr. Cao has worked for 20 years in chemistry and engineering. Having successively worked for China CAMC Engineering Co., Ltd, Thyssen Krupp, and Bertrams Chemicals Plants Ltd, he joined KBR (one of the largest American engineering firms) in 2019 as its China General Manager, taking charge of the sales, marketing, and operations of KNR’s sustainable technical solutions in China.

Mr. Xu Hui, Career Mentor of NSD’s MBA programs, NSD’s EMBA alumnus, one of China’s first-generation internet entrepreneurs, angel investor, initiator of Xishan Reading Club (for entrepreneurs, investors, and scholars) and Xishan Angels (for offering mutual assistance among member’s entrepreneurial undertakings). Mr. Xu also works as guest lecturer and startup mentor for Peking University, Beijing Normal University, Sun Yat-sen University, and Chinese Academy of Sciences, among others. He started to commit himself to the internet startup landscape in 1998, launching WeWey China, Jing Qi Xi Shu E-commerce, and HiPiHi (a 3D virtual world platform). He founded Xi Shan Reading Club and Xi Shan Angels in 2012 and 2015 respectively.

Mr. Hu Haitao, 2021 PKU-UCL full-time MBA, Bachelor of International Economy and Trade of Anhui University. Mr. Hu has worked abroad extensively, having 20 years’ experience in international economic and technological partnerships. He has acquired ample knowledge and practices related to import and export, contract foreign projects, international market development, and corporate governance of overseas subsidiaries. Currently he works for a large state-owned economic and trade group.
