Application Requirements
For your application to be considered as valid for admission, you must meet the following pre-requisites:
- 1. A degree from an accredited university:bachelor degree or higher
- 2. At least three years’ full-time working experience before entrance
- 3. To pass an admission test:
Option 1: On-campus Admissions Test
Option 2: GMAT/GRE + English Language Proficiency Exam (TOEFL or equivalent English language test)

Application Process
- STEP 1: Submit Online Application
Candidates need to successfully submit the online application first. All the supporting documents need to be uploaded. You can access to our online application system here .
- STEP 2: Attend Interview
When online application has been approved, your interview will be arranged. The 40-minute interview consists of self-introduction and theory interpretation and it will be held by our admission committee members.
- STEP 3: Take Tests
Candidates can choose to submit GMAT/GRE test score or take on-campus test.
- STEP 4: Get Admission Result
Candidates will receive admission result within 2-3 weeks.

Test & Interview
- Admissions Test
All candidates are required to choose one of two admissions tests. The details of the two options are:
- Option 1 GMAT (or GRE ) & English Language Test
GMATThere's no minimum score requirement, BiMBA accept students with a wide range of scores. The range of GMAT scores for 2023 students is 590-770. It is recommended that applicants apply with a GMAT Focus Edition score of 555 or above. You can provide us the official link of your score report or to have your score sheets sent directly to the BiMBA program by selecting “China-Peking University, BiMBA” at the beginning of test. - GRE
We require a minimum scaled GRE score of 157 for the verbal part (61%) and 158 for the quantitative part (64%). (GRE Code:3705)
- English Language Test
TOEFL: IBT above 100 attained within two years; please provide the photo copy of your transcript. (TOEFL Code:2613)
or
IELTS: Above 7; please provide the photo copy of your transcript. (Institution Name: BiMBA of NSD at Peking University)
Please note: Candidates who are native English speakers or who obtained degrees from universities where English is the primary language of instruction are exempt from this TOEFL or equivalent requirement.
- Option 2 Peking University-Vlerick On-campus Test
Including 35-minute analytical part and 50-minute written part.
1. Numerical Reasoning Ability TestThe analytical test assesses the candidates' ability to read and interpret tables and to make small calculations. The test is designed as a multiple choice test. Each table or graph is followed by several questions. For each question there are four to five possible answers. Only one answer is correct. - 2. Verbal Reasoning Ability Test
The Verbal Ability Test measures candidates' ability to extract relevant information from written sources and make objective judgments based on that information. It indicates how an individual will perform when working with reports, correspondence, instructions, and research information. The test emphasizes understanding, using, and evaluation verbal information rather than vocabulary, spelling or grammar.

- 3. Written Test
The written test assesses the applicant's listening comprehension and writing skills in English. The applicant is requested to listen to an article read by a English native speaker and then write a structured summary of, and comment on, an article on a relevant economic and business concept. This test will be 50 minutes.

- Interview
Applicants who have passed the application screening will be invited to a personal interview in English. The admission interview is both evaluative and informative: it is not only an opportunity for us to learn more about you, but also for you to learn more about BiMBA. The interview is 40 minutes and conducted by Deans & Directors, Alumni or Faculty Members. The interview will contain two parts: the first part will be a Q&A session and take 25 minutes; The second part will require you to give a 10-minutes presentation and the topic will be emailed to you one week before the interview.
The evaluation will be based a comprehensive approach to assess the applicants' learning ability and career potential. The interview probes the applicant's motivation to attend the program of their choice, their background, their interest in management sciences, and their insight into their own personal strengths and weaknesses, their future career path, communication skills and also assesses their contributions to the group. The final decision on admission will be made by the admissions committee of BiMBA.
For overseas applicants, telephone or videoconference interviews can be organised. However, a face-to-face interview is preferred and highly recommended.

* The overview of the company should include the overview of the company (public, private, or non-profit), the management, and the product(s) or service(s) and the market position in its sector. Please also provide the company's organizational structure as it relates to you (department specific).
