Strategy in Uncertainty – Moving beyond Traditional Strategy Frameworks

Date

Monday, 25 March 2019

19:00 – 21:00

Location

As companies are facing more and more dynamic and complex environments in which they have to make their strategic decisions, the applicability of traditional strategy concepts might be challenged. Companies might find it hard to anticipate the future and, therefore, find it harder to define strategies and to sustain their success. This session aims at highlighting how strategies can be developed to shape a company’s path to success, given the presence of dynamic, complex, or – simply speaking – uncertain environments. Beyond a better understanding of various environmental conditions, which might cause such difficulties, it will also illustrate specific tools to overcome those obstacles.

BiMBA of National School of Development at Peking University invites you to join us for a lecture in strategy. Prof. Martin Weiss from BiMBA’s partner school Vlerick Business School will give his understanding of the strategy in uncertainty.
