About the speaker:
Elliott Zaagman is a columnist, podcast host, and a leadership and PR consultant for Chinese technology firms. His articles are regularly featured by Australia’s Lowy Institute,Technode.com, and in Chinese -language onHuxiu.com.His work has also been published by Foreign Policy, SupChina, Tech in Asia, The Jamestown Foundation, and CGTN.
He has spent over years either working in China or focused on China issues. His clients have included founders and teams from firms such as JD.com, Zhihu, Mobike, and Lenovo, like many other expanding Chinese startups. He has also written and spoken extensively on Huawei and the role that is playing in the escalating US-China technological, military, and economic tensions.
