About Lecturer
Dr. Xie Xuanli is currently Associate Professor of Management with the NSD and Senior Fellow with the Institute of Digital Finance at PKU. Her research focuses on innovation and startups, corporate digitalization, and internationalization, among others.
Dr. Xie received her Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, following her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Management from Peking University. She has undertaken a series of important research topics for the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Ministry of Education, and All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, among others. Her papers have been published in leading domestic and international journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Small Business Management, and Management World.
Dr. Xie teaches such courses as Management of Startups and Strategic Management to MBA, undergraduate and graduate students. She has invited dozens of entrepreneurs and investors into her classroom to share their experiences and insights; meanwhile, she has led students to visit leading companies and platforms such as United Family Hospital, Sinovation Ventures, and Di Di Chuxing, where she conducted onsite lectures. Her extensive research of innovative upstarts has given rise to case studies that have been adopted by business schools.
