Speakers

Ms. Deng Jianwei, NSD’s full-time MBA Class of 2002, Career Mentor of NSD’s MBA programs, and Vice President of Edding Pharmaceutical (China). Ms. Deng has three years’ clinical experience as a cardiologist and 20 years’ business development credential working successively for Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson and Bayer. She oversaw the launch of three heavyweight new products and led her team to achieve double-digit growth for a 7-billion-yuan product line for five years in a row. As such, she has garnered abundant practical experience and strategic insights in biologicals, chronological diseases, and innovative oncology drugs.

 

Mr. Fu Guoying

Alumnus Ambassador for the NSD’s MBA programs from 2021 to 2023, PKU-UCL part-time MBA Class of 2018. Mr. Fu graduated from PKU School of Public Health and has been working in the pharmaceutical industry for 10 years. Joining Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices as a management trainee, he moved through various roles in sales and marketing and was involved in setting tactics, managing product life cycle, and compiling and promoting expert guidelines. He currently works for Qiming VC as a healthcare investment consultant.

 

Mr. Liu Yikun, PKU-Vlerick full-time MBA Class of 2009, Bachelor of Biotechnology with Wuhan University. Currently Managing Director of IDG, a global leader in venture capital, Mr. Liu has had over ten years’ experience investing in biotechnology.

 

Ms. Zhang Fang, PKU-Vlerick part-time MBA Class of 2017, Director for market access and governmental and corporate affairs at Shanghai Junshi Biosciences. Previously she worked for Xian Janssen, Eli Lilly and Company, and Qilu Pharmaceutical. Over her career Ms. Zhang has focused on the market access and public and corporate affairs in the pharmaceutical industry, taking full responsibility at both national and local levels for entry strategy, innovative access, and pricing system, among others.
