[Guangzhou] Forum on Economic and Political Situations
Mar 18-2023
Event Information
The 20th CPC National Congress unequivocally specified that “high-quality development is an essential requirement of Chinese-styled modernization.” As domestic and international situations become ever more complex, instability and uncertainty have evidently been on the rise. Consequently, Chinese entrepreneurs are confronted with a monumental proposition: how can they enhance their awareness of opportunity and risk and grasp the development patterns of the economy and society, so as to become a key driving force for the Chinese-styled modernization and the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation? In view of this, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Institute and National School of Development at PKU are holding a seminar in Guangzhou on March 18, 2023, in which experts and scholars will analyze and predict the political and economic trends of China and the world in 2023. The speakers include Prof. Yao Yang (Dean of NSD), a renowned economist; Prof. Zheng Yongnian (Director General of Guangdong-Hong Kong- Macau Greater Bay Area Institute), a renowned expert on China; and Mr. Xu Xianchun, NSD Contributing Research Fellow.
