About Lecturer
Zhao Bo, NSD Associate Professor of Economics (Tenured) and doctoral tutor. Prof. Zhao graduated from the University of Oslo, Norway, in 2012. He was a visiting scholar at the research department of the Federal Reserve Minnesota, the University of Minnesota, and Australia’s Monash University. Prof. Zhao focuses his research on macro-economics, economic growth, labor economics, and real estate economics. His papers have been published by leading international economics journals such as Review of Economic Dynamics, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, and Economic Theory, as well as Chinese authoritative journals like China Economic Quarterly and Journal of Financial Research. Prof. Zhao has presided over projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and participated in a number of policy research projects of national think-tanks. He has received various prizes, including the Ministry of Education’s 8th Institutions of Higher Learning Excellent Research Award, Peking University Excellent Teaching Award, and Peking University-CIBC Excellent Scholar of Economics. Currently Prof. Zhao is Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Economic Quarterly and executive member of the computing economics branch of China Computer Federation.
