Greek Night at BiMBA

Greek food, Greek drink and Greek dance---- On June 15, 2008, with the support from Embassy of Greek in China, BiMBA International Relation Office organized ‘Greek Night at BiMBA’, which attracted nearly a hundred of BiMBA students and alumni and the staff from Embassy of Greek.

 

 

This wonderful night began with Greek food tasting, after all, all the guests attended the introduction session by speakers from Greek. First of all, Sophia Hiniadou-CAMBANIS，the wife of Ambassador, introduced the Culture Year of Greece to the audience.

 

Then, Mr. Papadimitriou, Counselor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of Embassy of Greece, talked about the economics and business relationship between Greece and China. He also encouraged the BiMBA students to do business in Greek.

 

Finally, Areti Skafidaki, the staff from Economic and Commercial Affairs of Embassy of Greece, brought a basket of drink and food to the platform and introduced the tradition of Greek food. She also demonstrated the traditional Greek honey, red wine and olive oil to all the audience and shared these food and drink to them.

 

Zhuang Yang, the foreign Dean of BiMBA also expressed his acknowledgment to this special night. He said BiMBA would consider Greek as the first stop as BiMBA tour in Europe this year. At last, all the people danced together with the traditional Greek music.
