Visiting Professor at BiMBA Received an International Award

Mr. Andy Tsay, a visiting professor at Beijing International MBA (BiMBA), has just received the 2007 “Wickham Skinner Award for Teaching Innovation Accomplishments” at the Production & Ops Mgmt Society (POMS) annual conference in Dallas.
Professor Andy Tsay, came from Santa Clara University, has been presented the “Awards for outstanding teaching and research” for five years consecutively. He is coming to teach the Operations Management course in May and June at BiMBA this year. He taught the same course here last year and was well received by the BiMBA students.
POMS is the premier international academic society for the study and practice of Operations Management, with more than 1100 members in 44 countries. The POMS flagship journal is one of the 20 recognized by BusinessWeek in measuring scholarly output across all fields for its annual B-school rankings.

Dr. Andy Tsay’s research interests include design/manufacturing/procurement/supply chain management in heavily outsourced environments and multi-channel distribution. He is the five-time winner of Extraordinary Performance Award for Teaching, Research, & Service. He is also the associate editor of Management Science, and serves on the editorial board of various magazines.
Dr. Tsay's research has been published in leading academic journals such as Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Production & Operations Management, and Journal of Retailing, and various books on supply chain management.
He holds a Ph.D. in Business and an M.S. in Engineering from Stanford University.
