Pioneer a Brighter Future-Novozymes China Visit to BiMBA

On the afternoon of May 27, Mr. Chen Dong, BiMBA alumni as well as Senior Manager of Customer Service Department at Novozymes China, together with Ms. Sui Ning, Manager of Personnel and Organizational Development, paid a visit to BiMBA and introduced Novozymes Commercial Graduate Program to the MBA students. This event was held by Ms. Chai Yurong, Assistant Director of Alumni and Career Development Department. 

Chen reviewed the history and development of Novozymes Group, as well as the corporate vision, culture, business scope and recent developments of Novozymes China. As Chen put it, Novozymes, headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark, is the world’s largest producer of industrial enzymes and industrial microbial agents. In China, Novozymes adheres to the “triple principle”, which means to equally regard the operation performance, the environmental performance and the social responsibility. Novozymes hopes to become a strategic partner of China’s sustainable development.


Sui explained the philosophy and arrangement of the 2011 Novozymes MBA Case Competition and Novozymes Commercial Graduate Program to the students. This program will run for 3 years and the participants will move through 2-3 rotations with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain organizations. The program includes an international rotation with a prolonged stay abroad most likely at Novozymes’ headquarter in the Copenhagen, Denmark. Participants will be assigned to a Novozymes manager in each rotation and offered the training needed to perform daily tasks. Sui further said, to accelerate the development from graduate towards becoming a future Novozymes leader in China, an Individual Development Plan will be designed and supporting coaching and training activities provided.


To selected talented business graduates into this program, on the 25th and 26th of June 2011, Novozymes will host a case competition where candidates will compete in solving a real life Novozymes business challenge.
