Lecture on Hispanic Culture by BiMBA

On the afternoon of August 23, a special lecture on Hispanic culture was held by BiMBA at Zhifuxuan. Professor Lv Longgen from Beijing International Studies University, also a part-time professor of Peking University, introduced to BiMBA students and staff the Hispanic history, politics and culture.

In recent years, BiMBA has taken vigorous steps to carry out “China Study Tour” for MBA delegations from leading Spanish business schools and the program has won great appreciation from home and abroad. The lecture was intended to better the understanding of BiMBA students and staff on the Hispanic traditions and cultures.

Professor Lv Longgen started his lecture from the Hispanic history. The history spans from Roman Times to Moorish dynasty until the founding of the modern Spain. By showing the audience photos and pictures on Hispanic culture, Professor Lv illustrated a vivid image of the glorious Hispanic history fearing multi-religions, binding ethnic groups and subcultures. Professor Lv placed great emphasis on the ethnic and regional issues of Spain and offered his tips on appropriate and effective association with the Spanish people.
