Bilderberg Group was initiated by Prince Bernhard of the Netherland, father of Queen Beatrix, to foster cooperation between European countries and the U.S. The annual meeting is called Bilderberg Club or Bilderberg Conference because the first meeting was held in Hotel de Bilderberg in Netherland. Every year, attendees of this meeting include around 130 worldwide elites from business, media, and politics. Because of the private nature of this meeting, it is also called “international shadow government.” Every year, this meeting is held behind closed doors, and mainstream media rarely reports on the meeting. Therefore, it is also called “meeting of mystery”.
