Justin Lin: Reform Pioneer
Dec 19-2018
At a grand gathering to celebrate the 40-year anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up on December 18, NSD Honorary Dean Justin Lin was among 100 Chinese awarded Reform Pioneer for their outstanding contributions. President Xi Jinping attended the event and made a historic speech reaffirming China’s commitment to opening-up even more to the world. In total, 11 people related to Peking University were awarded. Prof. Lin was recognized as an explorer of theories for reforming the economic system. He was also widely lauded for founding NSD (formerly China Center for Economic Research, or CCER) in 1994, which has developed into a leading national think tank and one of the best business schools in China. The BiMBA business school in NSD now offers two highly sought-after MBA programs with international faculty and cohort. No doubt the pioneering spirit is in our gene.
