Another Bumper Year

Pedagogically and academically, NSD deservedly celebrated another bumper year in 2018. It constantly ranked among top think tanks in China and beyond, and its BiMBA Business School continued to offer the best business education in China. A selection of events was held to mark the 20-year anniversary of BiMBA, which housed two MBA programs with Vlerick Business School and UCL School of Management respectively. The Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development welcomed 64 students for Class 2018. It thus covered 50 countries in terms of the origin of all the students admitted since its inception two years before. NSD professors and researchers continued to conduct top-tier research projects backed by national funds and publish books and papers on important topics with far-reaching impacts. Many of the faculty members won prestigious awards for their academic and pedagogical accomplishments. NSD students had their share of accolades for participating in various competitions and charity projects. Awards look like new normal for NSD for years to come.
