Scholarship for Public Good

Admission to BiMBA programs can be sweeter than expected. In 2018, NSD created 14 scholarships for the two MBA programs of BiMBA Business School: Peking University-Vlerick MBA program and Peking University-UCL MBA program. One of the scholarships recognizes contribution to public good. Mr. Shang Ping of the Vlerick program and Ms. Sun Jiayi of the UCL program, both in Class 2018, have been awarded the scholarship. At 2.04 meters, Mr. Shang used to be a professional basketball player and an entrepreneur. Now at BiMBA, he not only gets his classmates to do more sports, but also spearheads fund-raising for a national poverty reduction program. Ms. Sun is an aerospace specialist of China National Space Administration (CNSA) and currently works for the UN. She has assisted five countries in developing disaster management capabilities through aerospace technologies and has organized many international seminars and trainings. Bravo!
