CCHER: Global Go To Think Tank

China Center for Health Economics Research (CCHER), part of NSD, ranks No.1 in China and No.15 globally among health policy think tanks, according to the 2017 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report by the University of Pennsylvania. Founded by Prof. Liu Guoen in 2004, CCHER has educated and trained close to 100 young scholars and researchers in health economics, and conducted national research projects with far-reaching significance on medical reform, hospital management, and hygiene economics, among others. Prof. Liu still heads the Center, which currently has a team of 20 researchers and scholars as well as an academic advisory committee made up of renowned professors worldwide.
