My Mentor & Me

On June 29, together with eight NSD alumni-cum-mentors, let's work out some issues that might have been brewing in your heart for a while: How to achieve fast advancement on corporate ladder? How to switch from one profession to another? What are the core competences in the corporate world? How to delineate a career path under current economic situations? And how to tell if one is suitable for starting up own business?

Participants will be divided into groups each coached by a mentor and discussions will be followed by group presentation and mentors' commentaries. The eight mentors are entrepreneurs and senior executives spanning finance, HR, headhunting, ride sharing, health, real estate, pharmaceutical, and consulting.

Ms. Lucy Liu, Assistant Dean of NSD and Director of its MBA Center, will make the opening speech. You can expect to learn about the world-class MBA programs on her watch – one with the School of Management of UCL and the other with the Vlerick Business School, as well as the unique mentorship program that links up each student with a mentor to facilitate and accelerate his/her career development.
