Justin Lin to MBA New Cohort

Jul 12-2019

Come August, a new cohort of students will start their MBA studies at BiMBA Business School. Those with admission paper in hand should be gearing up for a brand new way of life: embracing self-empowerment, renewing knowledge, widening perspectives, and getting to know new teachers and friends. Those still dithering over an MBA have the month of July to make a decision, knowing that one whole year's waiting could be on the line.

This is a mini-series of welcoming speeches by deans of NSD and BiMBA Business School to the new cohort.

From Prof. Justin Lin Yifu, Honorary Dean and Co-founder of NSD; Dean of the Institute of New Structural Economics at PKU; and Dean of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development at PKU:

"A warm welcome to every student joining the MBA program at NSD and becoming a member of us. This will be the most valuable investment in your lifetime, and your human capital will gain immensely through the two-year study. Going forward, the Chinese economy still commands enormous growth potential and can be expected to keep contributing up to 1/3 of global economic growth. This undoubtedly will engender new growth opportunities, in which your human capital can achieve ever-higher value. At the same time, new challenges will crop up. Consequently, you should study hard so as to contribute more innovative solutions for the nation's development, while growing yourself into a business leader for China and even for the world."
