BiMBA: Career Accelerator

To excel in their careers, the MBA students at BiMBA can count on the backing of the school’s alumni. On June 29th, an interactive event was held at Lang Run Yuan campus, with eight alumni each coaching some students.
Ms. Lucy Liu, Assisting Dean of NSD, made the opening speech and hoped that the students could have a clearer career positioning through the coaching of the alumni.
The no-bars-hold discussions benefited tremendously from the abundant experiences of the eight alumni whose proven track record spans many industries, including finance, HR, head hunting, retail, real estate, ride sharing, health care, and consulting.
Each group presented their findings and conclusions, rounded off by comments from its alumnus-coach. Some of the best advice included optimizing self-management, identifying a field that you are passionate about and good at, planning with the end goal in mind, staying open-minded and being ready for crossover opportunities.
