Always Remain a Student at Heart
Jul 26-2019
Graduating from BiMBA’s MBA program means double happiness: two commencements each at a unique venue.
After a commencement at PKU Centenary Hall, a landmark building paying homage to the university’s long history at the forefront of China’s modernization drive, BiMBA’s 2019 graduates enjoyed another at Vlerick Business School in Belgium in early July.
BiMBA Business School (of NSD) started working with Vlerick in 2008 to offer full-time and part-time MBA programs, taught in English. Graduates are conferred Vlerick’s MBA diploma, which is certifiable by relevant Chinese authorities, as well as a certificate by PKU.
Vlerick is a leading European management school jointly founded by University of Leuven and Ghent University in 1953. Gaining all three major international certifications for management education, Vlerick was recognized by QS as having MBA graduates with the highest pay-raise.
Prof. Marion Debruyne, Dean of Vlerick, gave a speech at the commencement and urged the graduates to always remain a student at heart and to be an entrepreneur in life. She said courage and creativity are needed to solve global challenges in a fast-changing world, and expected the graduates to keep their entrepreneurial spirit and leverage business to move the society forward.
