MBA Day for Alums

Dec 12-2019

BiMBA alums flew in from four corners of the world and gathered at Langrun Garden, the NSD campus, for the MBA Day on December 7th.

It’s an emotional and exciting moment, marking the over 20-year history of BiMBA since the inception of its first MBA program in 1998. The alums of the 1998 and 1999 classes were presented with special greetings – the former for their pioneering role and the latter for their 20th anniversary.

Prof. Chen Chunhua, Dean of BiMBA Business School, made a speech titled Expanding Cognition and Competences. Competences result from needs and align knowledge with action, she said. After the speech, she autographed on one of her new books and present a copy to each alumnus.

Ms. Chen Junhui, Director of the NSD Alumnus Department, and Ms. Lucy Liu, Director of MBA Center, spoke on the development of the NSD and its MBA programs.

An interactive activity brought back memories of the wonderful days the alums spent at the NSD. Another one had alums in charge of industry-specific Wechat alum groups sharing their experiences and insights.

The theme of the MBA Day - In Memory of Langrun, Embarking on New Journey - makes a pun on the new campus of the NSD, Chengze Garden, which is slated to open in 2020. More celebrations are in the books!
