NSD Professors Ranked Chinese Most Cited Researchers

Ten scholars from the NSD made it onto the 2020 Chinese Most Cited Researchers, a ranking released in late April by Elsevier, an international academic publishing agency.

Nine of them were on the ‘Theoretical Economics’ list: Justin Yinfu Lin, Zhao Yaohui, Zhang Xiaobo, Zeng Yi, Huang Yiping, Lei Xiaoyan, Yao Yang, Tang Fangfang, and Lu Feng; Xu Jintao was on the ‘Farming and Forestry Management’ one.

The compilation comes into its seventh version this year and a number of NSD professors have been featured for seven years in a row. The ranking is based on Elsevier’s peer review and literature indexing database called Scopus.

The NSD scholars are:

Zhao Yaohui: PKU Bo Ya Distinguished Professor, NSD Economics Professor, Ministry of Education’s Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor

Zhang Xiaobo: NSD Endowed Professor, Director of the Center for Enterprise Research at PKU

Zeng Yi: NSD Rehired Professor, Chief Scientist of the PKU Raissun Institute for Advanced Studies

Huang Yiping: NSD Deputy Dean and Jin Guang Endowed Professor, Director of the PKU Institute of Digital Finance

Lei Xiaoyan: PKU Bo Ya Young Scholar, Deputy Secretary of the CCP Cell at the NSD, Economics Professor, Ministry of Education’s Changjiang Young Scholar, Director of the PKU Center for Healthy Aging and Development Studies

Yao Yang: PKU Bo Ya Distinguished Professor, Dean of the NSD, Director of CCER, Executive Dean of the Institute of PKU South-South Cooperation and Development at PKU
