UCL No.8 on QS World University Rankings
Jun 24-2021
The latest QS World University Rankings puts UCL, partner school of the NSD for MBA programs, at No.8 out of a total of 1,300 institutions of higher learning worldwide.
The partnership between PKU and UCL was formalized in 2016 when the two universities released a communique announcing the offering of a joint MBA program. A paradigm of fusing the best of two institutions – the NSD being a leading economics and public policy think-tank, and UCL’s management school enjoying cutting edge in technology, innovation, analytics and entrepreneurship – the joint MBA program has since been playing an important role in cultivating next-generation leaders and fostering China’s knowledge economy.
Dr. Michael Spence, President and Provost of UCL, appreciates recognition of QS and says that in such times of hardship, UCL teachers and students are doing their utmost to build cross-border and cross-subject partnerships to cope with the most daunting challenges facing the world.
In yet another ranking by QS, the World University Rankings by Subject released in March 2021, UCL saw 43 of its subjects in world leading positions, with 9 in Top 10 globally.
PKU also moves up the QS 2022 rankings, to No.18 globally, marking the first time it makes into Top 20.
