BiMBA Named 2021 Outstanding Business School
Dec 27-2021
CNR News, a state media group, held a summit on December 24th to celebrate 30 years of MBA education in China. On the strength of its accomplishment, BiMBA was awarded 2021 Outstanding Business School. The event was co-organized by mbaedu.cn, a platform for business education.
Prof. Yao Yang, Dean of the NSD, delivered a keynote speech on the new cycle of China’s economic development. He said that over the last decade, the Chinese economy had gone through profound adjustments and was now back on track to embrace a new round of fast growth. The dip in growth rate in the second half of 2021 didn’t amount to a pessimistic outlook for a range of reasons. China remained the world’s best destination for investment, he said. In addition, China owned world-leading technologies in various fields. Furthermore, despite the pressure of an aging population, the country could still unlock tremendous potential through urbanization and consumption.
BiMBA Business School at the NSD is the bellwether of business education in China. Founded in 1998 and operated by the NSD, BiMBA harnesses world-class business education resources while staying true to the mission and values of PKU. This is where East meets West and knowledge meets actions. As a forerunner and leader in Sino-foreign cooperative educational programs, BiMBA now offers two international MBA programs, PKU-UCL MBA and PKU-Vlerick MBA, both of which start a new academic year every autumn.
