Prof. Chen Chenhua Named Influential Writer

The 8th Influential Writer Rankings by Dangdang, a leading online bookseller, was unveiled in late May and Prof. Chen Chunhua was honored in the category of finance and economy writers. She is PKU K. C. Wong Endowed Chair Professor and Dean of BiMBA Business School at NSD.
What propelled Prof. Chen onto the ranking was her book Synergy and Symbiosis, published in 2021 and heralding the rising of Chinese management academics. The findings hailed from Prof. Chen and her team’s decade-long research and practices exploring new organizational modes for value creation and the evolutionary paths of individuals and organizations in the digital age. This was coupled with the management practices of six leading enterprises, including Xiao Mi, Midea, and Haier, to give birth to the theoretical frameworks and management modes of synergetic symbiosis.
Prof. Chen was not a newcomer to the Dangdang ranking; in fact, her previous tomes, such as The Common Sense of Management and Inspire the Individual, had earned her a place on the top for years.
