Jun 17-2022

In the 2023 QS World University Rankings, University College London shines at No.8 globally with an overall score of 95.4, while Peking University rises to No.12, 6 places above its last standing, with 91.4 points. Their stature and strengths once again corroborate the quality of their joint MBA program.

Among the eight criteria used by QS, including academic prestige, employment result, and international research network, UCL scores exceptionally high in five. It also has nine subjects in the global Top10, according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

As of today, UCL counts 30 Nobel prize winners among its alumni and current and former employees.

In 2016, Peking University and UCL signed a joint declaration to offer a joint MBA program, which has since been operated by PKU National School of Development (NSD) and UCL School of Management (SoM). The NSD is widely acclaimed as a leading think-tank for economics and public policy, while SoM as a business school excels in technology, innovation, logical analysis, and entrepreneurship. Bringing together the best of two leading institutions, the PKU-UCL MBA programs has been playing a significant role in cultivating next-generation leaders, spurring China’s development, and facilitating the country’s transition towards a knowledge-based economy.

In 1998 BiMBA Business School at the NSD offered Beijing’s first Chinese-foreign cooperatively run MBA program approved by the State Council, and in 2000 it was among the first to launch EMBA and EDP programs in the country. The school taps both NSD faculty and those of partner schools in the US and Europe, including UCL and Vlerick. Lauded as a ‘B school in a think-tank’, BiMBA has educated more than 10,000 entrepreneurs and senior managers over the past 20 years.
