From Customization to Reusable Industrialization
Entrepreneur: Recently, I saw that Guoshu Technology has launched the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” + replica digital human product. What kind of product is this? What are the differences compared with traditional digital human technology, and how can it be combined?
Yuan Guoshu: “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” is an artificial-intelligence holographic interactive-experience hardware product jointly launched by Guoshu Technology and Holoconnects, a Dutch company. “Replica digital human” collects the voiceprint, facial-expression, and dynamic facial feature data of the subject through 4 K ultra-high-definition video captured by the holographic replication system paired with the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin,” generating a digital human that looks exactly like the real person. The combination of “OBVerse Holographic Cabin + replica digital human” forms a fast and efficient platform for digital human creation. Compared with traditional digital human generation, it integrates creation and display in a single terminal; the replica digital human can be played inside the cabin, presenting 4K ultra-high-definition naked-eye 3-D visual effects.
Entrepreneur: You once mentioned “standardizing and intelligent science-popularization exhibits.” How can holographic-cabin technology achieve the leap from highly customized production to reusable industrialization?
Yuan Guoshu: The standardization and intelligence of science-popularization products are prerequisites for the high-quality development of the industry. Traditional exhibits require large amounts of labor, materials, and capital from design to production, with long cycles, high costs, low efficiency, and difficult quality control. Therefore, they cannot meet the public’s or the nation’s expectations for large-scale, high-quality science popularization. Through a “building-block innovation” approach and nearly a decade of exploration, Guoshu Technology has overcome the limitations of exhibits being workshop-style, highly customized, and niche in application, achieving standardized design, mass production, and large-scale deployment in multiple scenarios. This has greatly improved their technological content and delivery efficiency while creating more diverse application scenarios and better interactive experiences.
The newly launched “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” is likewise a standardized, intelligent science-popularization product that can be rapidly deployed and flexibly adapted to different scenarios. Its built-in HoloControl remote-management system supports 24/7 device monitoring and content updates, significantly reducing operation and maintenance costs. For science museums, the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin + replica digital human” combination provides an intelligent creation platform for science-popularization content, greatly improving efficiency. Museums can deploy rich content, create intelligent avatars of academicians and experts, and use remote-conferencing technology to deliver expert lectures in real time to any venue equipped with holographic cabins. This breaks geographical limits and enables “face-to-face” communication.
Intellectual Property Is the Universal Language of International Business Cooperation
Entrepreneur: In cooperation with Israeli company EyeClick, Guoshu Technology broke the deadlock through an intellectual-property analysis report. Will a similar strategy be used in the collaboration with Dutch company Holoconnects?
Yuan Guoshu: Intellectual property is the universal language of international business cooperation and the lifeline Guoshu Technology always adheres to. One core reason we established long-term cooperation with EyeClick is our respect for IP. In every foreign partnership, respect for IP is a prerequisite. Our cooperation with Holoconnects follows the same principle.
Currently, the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” has completed a global IP layout, filing for relevant protection in the United States, Japan, South Korea, and European countries and regions including Serbia, preparing for future market expansion.
Entrepreneur: How do international partners evaluate Guoshu Technology’s digital human capabilities? Do you plan to launch the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” globally?
Yuan Guoshu: Partners give high marks to our comprehensive technical capabilities. We have signed an exclusive cooperation framework with Serbia’s D-UNITE ELECTRIC, authorizing it to sell “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” and related products in Serbia. By entering the Eastern European market, we aim to promote our proprietary brand worldwide.
From Science-Popularization Scenarios to Multi-Dimensional Industrial Boundaries
Entrepreneur: You just mentioned “building-block innovation”. How is this reflected in holographic-cabin development?
Yuan Guoshu: “Building-block innovation” refers to constructing standardized modules based on one's own expertise and technology, which are then assembled into appropriate industrial chains in the global market. Through five steps—innovation, patent confirmation, capital evaluation, production, and global marketing—more competitive products or services are created. The development of the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” follows this concept. Holoconnects boasts globally leading holographic cabin technology. At the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services, Guoshu Technology and Holoconnects formally signed a cooperation agreement to jointly launch the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin”. In the same year, Guoshu Technology and Xiaoduo Intelligent Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. reached a deep strategic cooperation agreement to co-develop innovative AI software and hardware products, accelerating technological R&D and marketization. The three parties integrate their core strengths to continuously explore the integration of intelligent manufacturing and AI technology, and to create high-quality AI science-popularization products.
Entrepreneur: Science-museum exhibits are important carriers of popular-science education. How can digital humans reconstruct the “human–machine–content” interaction paradigm?
Yuan Guoshu: The holographic replication system paired with the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” can create a replica digital human and then train it to become an AI-driven intelligent digital human capable of real-time interaction with audiences. Through intelligent agents and digital humans, the deep integration of “human–machine–content” in science-popularization education is achieved. Its value lies not only in technological breakthroughs but also in moving science popularization from “one-way indoctrination” to “two-way co-creation.”
Entrepreneur: Which vertical scenarios will be the next key battlefields for technological explosion? What applications will emerge?
Yuan Guoshu: Guoshu Technology will strengthen cooperation with digital human enterprises and industry associations to build an open, win-win ecosystem, accelerate the deep integration of digital human technology and new-quality productive forces, and seize industry development opportunities. Currently, high-potential application scenarios include Party-building exhibition halls, government service halls, science popularization venues, school history museums, hotels, cultural and tourism sites, and shopping malls. Hotels can use holographic cabins to improve operational efficiency, reduce labor costs, and increase guest satisfaction and loyalty; science museums can create intelligent digital guides that provide friendly guidance and explanations through the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin”; school history museums can select influential historical figures, create digital avatars, and enable them to interact with visitors to tell various school history stories; enterprises can display digital images of founders or brand spokespersons to achieve brand promotion; the cabin can also be used for remote meetings, allowing participants to break geographical barriers and feel “in person”. In advertising and marketing, the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin” presents products as dynamic naked-eye 3D images, making brand activities more vivid and engaging.
Transitioning from “Person to Person” to “Digital Person to Person”
Entrepreneur: How will digital human technology reshape the underlying logic of cultural communication and business services over the next three to five years?
Yuan Guoshu: The underlying logic—from cultural dissemination to commercial services—is being reshaped by digital human technology in production, organizational management, and sales or marketing.
On the production side, AI-driven capabilities and quality are improving rapidly and will continue to do so. The businesses of many advertising, public relations, and even consulting firms have already been affected. From an organizational management perspective, digital or intelligent robots are gradually joining the workforce; super-individuals leading multiple intelligent agents may become the norm, triggering significant changes in the division of labor. At the sales or marketing level, intelligent assistants will be inserted between people to help super-individuals perform tasks, or intelligent avatars will directly represent them in speeches, meetings, Q&A sessions, and even negotiations and deal-matching between two intelligent avatars. All industries may therefore be reimagined.
In specific industries and scenarios, my views are as follows: 1. Digital human technology will enable the "digital immortality" of cultural heritage; 2. Cross-cultural communication efficiency will improve dramatically; 3. UGC content production will explode; 4. Services will become standardized and more efficient; 5. Personalized experiences will scale; 6. Business models will innovate.
Guoshu Technology is committed to promoting the cross-industry application of the “OBVerse Holographic Cabin”. Through intelligent science popularization and dissemination, we transform cutting-edge technologies into perceptible, innovative practices, allowing “hard-core technology” to enter thousands of industries in a more intuitive and engaging way. This provides key support for activating new industrial productivity and systematically fulfills our corporate mission of “promoting innovation in China through science popularization”.
