HRA Seminar on Workforce Efficiency

Zhang Zibin, Secretary-General of the HRA (Human Resource Association) at PKU NSD, and Lead Mentor for the Lean Human Resource Efficiency Project , delivered a presentation entitled “Innovation and Practice in Enhancing Human Resource Efficiency”. He provided a systematic overview of the concept of human resource efficiency and its practical applications, explaining the fundamental principles and logic behind reducing corporate costs and boosting efficiency. He also defined metrics for workforce productivity and presented models and systems to improve it. Drawing on extensive practical cases from training and consulting projects, he demonstrated how innovative management approaches and implementation pathways can accurately identify critical levers for enhancing corporate workforce productivity. This approach transcends traditional management paradigms, offering enterprises a clear roadmap to achieve cost reduction, efficiency gains, and improved workforce productivity.
Sun Heying, Vice President of the HRA at the PKU NSD, and an LMI (Leadership Management International) Personal Productivity Coach with rich consulting and management experience, shared insights on “Enhancing Organizational Labour Efficiency Through Personal Productivity Improvement”. She emphasized that individual productivity is the foundation of improving organizational efficiency, elaborating on how scientifically designed personal productivity strategies can unlock employees’ intrinsic motivation and potential, optimize workflows and methodologies, and drive a leap in overall organizational efficiency. This perspective provides enterprises with a fresh approach to addressing challenges related to talent effectiveness.
Kang Xiao, Deputy Secretary-General of the HRA at PKU NSD and a leading figure in workplace consulting, presented Implementation Strategies for Enhancing Human Capital Efficiency in Corporate Practice. Drawing on real-world corporate scenarios, he outlined a series of practical strategies for improving human capital efficiency across key areas, including talent recruitment, development, motivation, and organizational structure optimization.
Li Zhiyong, a seasoned AI expert, author of The Unmanned Company , and alumnus of the E21 Program at the PKU NSD, delivered a presentation entitled The Unmanned Company: Cases and Practices of Fully AI-Driven Commercial Entities. From three dimensions: pathways to achieving AI autonomy, Open-AI’s five-tier classification system, and the core capabilities of new AI entities (defined as AI = Proactivity + Combination + Evolution), he provided an accessible yet insightful analysis. This not only offered a fresh perspective on enhancing corporate human resource efficiency but also broadened attendees’ horizons.
